POVATE -MS OINTMENT Precautions

• 1. After washing the region, apply the Sucralfate, Metronidazole, and Povidone Iodine Ointment to the affected area with a sterile gloved hand or sterile spatula. Apply it once or twice daily, and then reapply it in any areas where activity has caused it to be washed away. The cream should always be applied to burn sites. Don\’t let anything touch your mouth, nose, or eyes directly. Rinse off with water right away if there has been contact.
